Sharing Our Talents

SEPTEMBER 21, 2009 - Fall Opener
5 pm - 7 pm
St. John's by the Campus Social Hall, 2338 Lincoln Way
Come one, come all, and bring a friend to enjoy
"Baskets of Plenty."

In addition to renewing friendships and greeting new members,
all attendees will have an opportunity to silently bid on gift baskets
prepared by each of the divisions with proceeds going to the Award Fund.
Plus pay club dues, obtain a yearbook, and sign up with a division
for a year of fun and friendship! 
 
OCTOBER 6, 2009 - Fall Trip
Board the bus at 7 am and get ready for an entertaining day
in Omaha, NE sponsored by ISUWC Past Presidents.  Highlights
will include a tour of Omaha's Gold Coast, lunch at the Josyln Castle,
tour and shopping at Borsheims, a tram tour of the famed Lauritzen Gardens,
and other surprises! 

*OCTOBER 19, 2009

Dress up and and come out for an afternoon of creative inspiration
with ISUWC's own artist, Jane Baty, who will present
"Sharing Creative Ideas."

*NOVEMBER 16, 2009
1:30 pm
ACE-certified professional trainer, radio show co-host, author,
and voice of fitness, Debra Atkinson will share the art and
science of getting more out of life: "Caring for Self -- Sharing with Others."

DECEMBER 9, 2009
2 pm - 4 pm
The Knoll, 111 Knoll Rd.
Begin your holidays with the Holiday Tea at The Knoll
hosted by Kathy Geoffroy where special treats and decoration await all. 
Ellen Parks hosted the first tea in 1981 and the tradition has continued since.

annual meeting exchange.  Program details to be announced.

"Sharing the Love of Flowers" by Betsy Enis and Sandy Gossman will
brighten and warm a cold winter day.  Invite your Green Thumb friends and
all who love flowers and get ready for the advent of spring!

Our members come from all corners of the globe and walks of life. 
"Sharing Their Stories" will feature a panel of members who will share
interesting
and inspiring stories about their heritage and/or life.

Don't miss an opportunity for a lovely lunch and afternoon with friends
at
The Hotel at Gateway Center, Garden Room
Tickets for "Celebrating Our Garden of Talents" may be purchased
at the March 22nd meeting
and at Cook's Emporium until April 12 on a 'first-come basis.'
